Boston Communications Group Inc., which provides billing software to mobile phone companies, named a new chief financial officer late Monday, three months after former CFO Karen Walker resigned.
The Bedford, Mass. company said it picked SofTech executive Joseph Mullaney for the post. SofTech is a small publicly traded software provider in Tewksbury, Mass.
The former CFO, Walker, resigned in October in the wake of findings that Boston Communications needed to restate some financial statements because of problems with its stock options grants.
Shares in Boston Communications rose about 2 percent in Tuesday morning trading.
